Welcome to Needham Market Community Centre

Since being built and opening its doors in 1980, Needham Market Community Centre has been a valued part of local life. More than just a building, we’re a place where people come together, friendships are made, talents are shared and memories are created.

We’re an independent registered charity (No. 279432), proud to serve our community and operate without relying on local government funding. Our future depends on the support, involvement and generosity of the people who make our centre such a special place. Every event held, room hired and visit made helps us continue providing a valuable facility for Needham Market and the surrounding area.

A space for every occasion

Whether you’re planning a wedding, birthday party, family celebration, exhibition, show, meeting or training session, we have spaces to suit a wide range of occasions. Our facilities include:

• A spacious main hall with stage – perfect for celebrations, performances, shows and larger events.
• The Burton Room and meeting rooms – ideal for clubs, groups, meetings and smaller gatherings.
• A fully equipped catering kitchen – helping you make your event extra special *subject to availability.
• A bar and lounge – a welcoming place to relax, socialise and catch up with friends.
• A Green Room and dressing room – ideal for performers, productions and events.
• Outdoor netball courts – offering even more opportunities to get active and enjoy the facilities.
• On-site parking – making visiting us that little bit easier.

Rooms can be hired individually or combined to create the right space for your event, giving you the flexibility to make your plans your own.

More than a venue – we’re a community!

Our centre is here for everyone. From local clubs and community groups to family celebrations, sporting activities and social get-togethers, we’re proud to provide a place where people can connect, take part and feel welcome.

Our public bar is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, offering a friendly spot to meet up and unwind. The bar is also available for private hire at other times, making it a great addition to your event.
